В-канал
 Канал передачи речи и данных со скоростью 64 кбит/с - базовый информационный канал, согласно терминологии, применяемой в ISDN. Сигнализация, необходимая для установления соединений, передается по другому каналу (см. D channel).

канал радиомаяка
 Канал, по которому базовые станции осуществляют передачу маркерного сигнала в сетях беспроводного доступа. Измеряя уровень принимаемого сигнала, мобильный абонент может оценить качество связи и выбрать БС, при связи с которой обеспечиваются наилучшие условия приема. Связь с базовой станцией происходит без предварительной передачи запросов и прочих служебных команд.
